The programs provide state-of-the-art technical skills for application in all facets of the building and construction industry. Our courses are open to men and women who are currently employed in the construction field or allied trades. The courses are offered evenings, Monday through Thursday.

This past fall, over 350 students enrolled in Mechanics’ Institute’s programs including Construction Documents and Design, Electrical Technology, HVAC Systems Design, Plumbing Design, Construction Project Management, Facilities Management and Historic Preservation.

Registration for the Spring is open, however please note that there is a maximum of thirty (30) students per class, so early registration is encouraged. Please call 212.840.7648 today for more information. Classes begin January 24.
